割り切れない結末でもこれが人生.なんで出逢ってしまったのだろう出逢わなければこんなに悲しまずに済んだのに.フランス映画は男女の機微を見事に表現して本当に奥が深いです.今はこんな映画作れないよね.それが寂しいね.

I love Jean Seberg. Thanks so much for posting this video. As a viewer who is very familiar with the work of Jean Seberg I simply can't accept Kristen in that role. She simply doesn't measure up to the character she is trying to play. She probably did well in the Twilight movies because she really has "dead eyes. Seberg was vibrant and alive in all of her roles, a talent Kristen has yet to develop.

They made a great couple for some reason and their chemistry made the whole film work! One really feels like they could be a couple. Hes the classic French man worldly, risk taking and wild. And shes the American newbie in Paris trying to fit in to French Society. And that short haircut really looks good on her for some reason. It made a good fashion statement and reminds one of Joan of Arc the French girl who led Armies and was burned at the stake as a Martyr. And strangely enough, Jean Seberg ended her life in a suicide after being harassed for being involved with left wing radicals and Black Panthers. She had a natural charm and they made a classic pair! They just looked so good together. This film is considered a classic New Wave film by Godard! RIP Jean Seberg.

French New Wave cinema intrigues me. She was very lovely and Jean Seberg is an icon for me. A very beautiful actress and a lady with strong convictions and desire to defend other populations like Indians of America,black people. I think that Jean was fragile however and would have needed a good psychiatrist because she married three times and had many affairs with men and her last lover was a dangerous man Ahmed Asni i guess who was a man who was violent and implied in a drugs traffic... I just think that Jean was a woman who needed love and affection but she had no respect for herself and was easily influenced. She sadly fell in love with bad individuals who took advantage of her and stole her and that 's what killed Jean.

I've often wondered about that, as I have a copy of a 70s French magazine featuring a big photo of old Otto and teen Jean frolicking on the ground in their swimwear, in each other's arms, almost kissing each other. I've never seen the photo online, either. WHAT ON EARTH WAS GOING ON THERE.

Seberg (Benedict Andrews) is an affair drama which is an interpretation of a real story. Combining the lead character's professional and personal roles, it explores her personal and relational lives.
Kristen Stewart gives a slightly contrite performance and she seems to have been once again typecast. Thankfully, the supporting cast are there with good performances to make up for the lack of personal connection with the main character. Unfortunately the excellent costume design is not enough to carry the film and will likely be overlooked.
Speaking after a screening at TIFF, the director explained the film is really a story of voyeurism; the addiction and danger of the watcher and watched. Even so, the excitement of surveillance is lost on an emotional contrived performance.

Mルグランはいいですね.私の中では「女と男のいる舗道」～「おもいでの夏」なんですが. Cドヌーブはこの映画と同じ頃Rポランスキーの「反撥」を観てまして全く異なる役を演じていて強烈な印象を受けました.その後のLブニュエル「昼顔」あたりで名女優になったのかなぁ. 今でも姉のFドルレアックが生きていたらと・・・ちょっと思っています. Aww, sad Jean. I used to study this type of activism and I am quite familiar with this story and its character.
This movie was trying to prostrate as it was positively event when the real story was nothing what that movie was made out to be. There is a lot of stories in this movie that needs to addressing to. I'll leave a few examples in here:
First of off, this lady was never had a romance with this Civil Rights activist.
Secondly, the FBI was not harassing her all because of hers political, nor because of hers involvement with Civil Rights, except it was because of her being involvement with a racist black group that was attempting to rob a several business and motivate to kill the enforcement.
Lastly, this lady was arrested for treason, publicity destruction, hatred, and harassing the soldiers whose return from Vietnam.
This movie needs to re-fix with fact-checking, instead of doing it to supports the propaganda.
I'll give it a 10 star once they fix it, but I know they won't.
(EDIT: Do some research instead of clicking dislikes all because you are offended by it...
