I felt like roger deacons was in charge of the cinematography because everything looked so beautiful especially at night. And low and behold turns out it was deacon.

Think about most iconic villain of all time is a clown with no power whatsoever. There's a point in that scene right as he notices the cherry blossom (? ) falling where to me the image seems to freeze for a moment and it's just like a painting. Beautiful shot. Man. I went back for a third viewing tonight, and I'm even more impressed with George Mackay's performance. He nails it. Just look at his expressions when Blake mentions Myrtle's having puppies. He smiles for a moment then immediately goes back to his 1000 yard stare. This is one of those movies where everything has come together. It's pretty much perfect. Too bad it's only running for a few more days here, and I missed the opportunity to see it in Dolby Cinema. This last viewing I really noticed the lack of contrast in the dark scenes. It would be even better when black is really black.

Didnt mean to tackle him at all. Me after watching this: “everything wrong with toy story 4” is gonna be hard to make. And one of the soldiers' brothers, from walking straight into a deadly trap. Toy Story 4 is definitely the best looking animated film to date. The level of detail is insane. Blake seems like more of a innocent boy caught in the conflict, like when he helps the enemy pilot and Schofield seems like the veteran solider who knows what he's doing, in one part it talks about how he was in the Somme which was the bloodiest battle in British military history.

Watch Full Length 1917 命をかけたat a time. You should start a WW1 movie review day. When FROM CHRISTOPHER NOLAN appeared. i feel that. I enjoyed this film, but not as much as I was hoping I would.
There were a number of things which took place that absolutely would not have happened during WWI, or any war for that matter.
The acting is superb, and the dialogue is well written.
The cinematography is amazing, and the visually are stunning.
It is slow paced, but not in a terrible way, yet also not in a great way either.
It's right in the middle.
I recommend seeing this movie and deciding for yourself.

Nesse filme, o diretor Sam Mendes move a câmera para trás de um objeto durante uma cena, como uma árvore ou um prédio incendiado onde a câmera pode ser parada e depois reiniciada sem um edição perceptível. Ou seja GENIAL. Signal lamps and pigeons would have been useless for what the runners did in the case of in 1917. Signal lamps can only be used in line of sight and messenger pigeons are only useful for sending messages back to command and not for sending from command to a unit behind enemy lines.

Watch Full Length 1917 命をかけたa à z. After viewing the film some viewers claimed historical inaccuracy because the film included an Indian British soldier. yes. we call these viewers Americans 😒. Might be good. Tom Cruise has sort of come into his own as an actor. Loved him in Jack Reacher. First thing I ever saw that I liked him in. I really thought this was going to be gimmicky and Hollywood but I was so wrong. So many moments in the movie where it just hit me that it wasn't your usual war epic. For example, no big pat on the back for Scho for going through hell trying to deliver the message. Blake's horrified and panicked reaction to getting stabbed and consequently dying was so realistically portrayed. The entire scene with the trip wire was riveting and gave you a real sense of brotherhood between the two actors. My legs were shaking throughout the entire movie and I cried twice, once when Blake dies and the end with his brother trying to hold it together. It's been a few days since watching it and I'm still haunted and captivated. EDIT: 10 out of fucking 10 this movie easily topped my list of favourite war films.

I think the movie Midway has too much of the ocindental and our part of the attack. This movie is an absolute masterpiece, NEVER have i seen anything like it. 1917 has been nominated for 10 Academy Awards: Best Picture Best Director Original Screenplay Cinematography Original Score Production Design Visual Effects Makeup and Hairstyling Sound Mixing Sound Editing What do you guys think? Personally I think Lee Smith not getting nominated for Best Editing is criminal, although there was some stiff competition this year. But overall this is great recognition, and double digit nominations is nothing to sneeze at.
